Caribbean American for Community Involvement in Florida, Inc. "CAFCI" is a community based organization in the Royal Palm Beach area.

Each year we offer deserving high school graduates the opportunity to apply for a monetary “Student Assistance Award” from our organization. Students applying must have at least a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate continuous academic success throughout their high school tenure to be eligible for an award.

Students applying must also show that they have participated in school and community activities including an interest in the Caribbean community. The monetary assistance is awarded to students who are going on to college, a university or an accredited institution of higher learning. If selected the student must provide proof of acceptance from the accepting school before receiving the award.
 

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicant must be:

1.      A resident of Palm Beach County, Florida

2.      Attending High School in Palm Beach county, and is expected to graduate within one year

3.      One who has demonstrated an interest in Caribbean-American affairs

4.      Provide a completed Application postmarked no later than March 25, 2010

5.      Applicant must be available for an Interview on April 10, 2010

6.      Presentation of Awards will be made on May 1, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Award recipient must be present to receive award
